New Red Shiny Rain Boots!

I am now a proud owner of a pair of new red shiny rain boots. Or like Grandpa likes to call them chicken house shoes. But they just make me want to go stomping through some big puddles, which around hear right now isn't hard to find. Sense we've gotten something like 6in of rain in the past 48 hours. Yeah, Yeah, I know that doesn't seem like a lot for a place that is known for rain, but really we only get like 48in a year. So 6inched in two days is a lot! And some places got like 11in. But don't worry, I've got my new red shiny rain boots so all is well.

I just found your e-mail with your new blog address on it so I've been having fun getting caught up with my Anna again. I LOVE the picture on the top of your blog of the lake. Down here in sunny San Diego we don't have winter so I have to live it vicariously through others (which, most of the time, is just fine:) love you!

Glad you are prepared now!! Wait, how long have you been living in Washington!!?!? :) :)

P.S. my word verification is "frabl"... does anyone else try and sound them out and think of what weird they are close to or what two words work to make a new compound word!?!? ... okay maybe that is just me!! :)
